  • Anti-wrinkle treatments, commonly using botulinum toxin, are injections designed to relax the muscles that cause wrinkles-particularly on the forehead, around the eyes, and between the brows. This helps smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.

  • They work by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the targeted muscles, reducing their activity. This results in a smoother appearance of the overlying skin. Effects typically last between 3 to 4 months.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections are most commonly used to treat dynamic wrinkles-those caused by repetitive muscle movements. Common treatment areas include:

    • Forehead lines (horizontal lines across the forehead)

    • Frown lines (between the eyebrows, also called “11s”)

    • Crow’s feet (lines around the outer corners of the eyes)

    • Bunny lines (wrinkles on the sides of the nose)

    • Eyebrow lift (to create a more lifted, refreshed appearance)

    • Jawline/Masseter muscles (for facial slimming or teeth grinding)

    • Gummy smile (to reduce excessive gum show when smiling)

Your practitioner will assess your individual concerns and facial movements to determine which areas would benefit most.

  • Dermal fillers are injectable substances used to restore volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial contours. Common fillers include hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, and poly-L-lactic acid. They can be used in areas such as the cheeks, lips, jawline, chin, and nasolabial folds.

  • Fillers work by adding volume beneath the skin, which can lift and smooth wrinkles and folds. Some fillers, such as hyaluronic acid, also attract moisture, further enhancing hydration and skin smoothness.

  • Profhilo is an injectable skin treatment made of pure hyaluronic acid that hydrates the skin and improves overall skin quality. Unlike traditional fillers, it doesn’t add volume but instead stimulates collagen and elastin production, helping to tighten, smooth, and revitalise the skin from within.

It’s most commonly used on the face, neck, and décolletage and is ideal for improving skin laxity, dullness, or crepey texture. Results develop gradually over a few weeks, with optimal effects usually seen after two treatments spaced four weeks apart.

  • For best results, a course of two Profhilo treatments spaced four weeks apart is typically recommended. Some clients with more advanced skin concerns may benefit from a third session. A maintenance treatment every 6 months is usually advised to keep the skin hydrated and firm.

  • Ideal candidates are generally adults experiencing early to moderate signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles, volume loss, or skin laxity. A consultation is essential to assess your concerns, skin type, and aesthetic goals. Certain medical conditions or medications may affect suitability, so a full medical history is reviewed beforehand.

  • Most clients experience minimal discomfort. A topical anaesthetic or ice may be used to reduce any sensation during injections. Profhilo treatments involve a few injection points per side and are usually well tolerated. Any post-treatment soreness or swelling is typically mild and short-lived.

  • Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. In rare cases, clients may experience asymmetry or mild headaches. These effects are temporary. Your practitioner will provide detailed aftercare instructions to minimise risks.

  • • Anti-wrinkle Treatments: Typically last 3 to 4 months.

    • Dermal Fillers: Depending on the type, results may last 6 to 12 months or longer.

    • Profhilo: Most clients repeat the treatment every 6 months to maintain optimal skin quality.

  • Each treatment begins with a consultation. Injections take 15–30 minutes depending on the area. Anti-wrinkle and filler results may be visible almost immediately, while Profhilo effects improve gradually over several weeks.

A full assessment will be carried out to ensure suitability.

  • Yes. Many clients choose to combine these treatments to achieve natural-looking, balanced results. Anti-wrinkle injections relax expression lines, fillers restore lost volume, and Profhilo improves hydration and skin texture. A customised plan will be created during your consultation.

  • Fine lines & wrinkles: Anti-wrinkle injections

    • Volume loss or sagging: Dermal fillers (cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds)

    • Dull or crepey skin: Profhilo

    • Tired or aged appearance: Combination of all three—botulinum toxin for dynamic wrinkles, fillers for structure, and Profhilo for skin quality
